2012 USDA Census data shows the number of female farm operators is significantly large for eastern Ohio. This conference is designed for women who are interested, involved or want to become involved in food, agriculture, natural resources or small business.

Ohio Annie's Project Information

Annie's Project was created to empower farm women to be better business partners through networks and by teaching how to manage and organize critical information.

Annie's Story
Annie’s Project is based on the life a of farm woman who grew up in a small town in northern Illinois. Annie spent her lifetime learning how to be an involved business partner with her farm husband. Together they did great things, but it wasn’t easy. Read her story and how her daughter started Annie's Project to empower female farmers...

The mission of the Women in Agriculture National Learning Network is to help women in agriculture improve their quality of life by providing them with resources to make better business decisions while maintaining a balance with family and personal obligations. Extension educators from 11 states (pictured below) make up the leadership team for the Women in Ag Learning Network.
