  3. Southwest Ohio Perennial School hosted by Clermont County Extension

    Ohio State University Extension Clermont County will host the 24th Southwest Ohio Perennial School on April 12, 2018 at 8 a.m. at the Clermont County Fairground’s 4-H Hall, 1000 Locust Street, Owensville, Ohio.

    The event will feature educational presentations with a tradeshow, staffed by regional vendors and gardening organizations.

    On January 25, 2018, the Ohio State University Extension Office of Family and Consumer Sciences and SNAP-Ed in Clermont County, had the privilege of presenting at the Ohio State’s 2018 Community Engagement Conference.  The presentation consisted of our program, “Do You Have Food $ense: Utilizing Community Partnerships to Reduce Food Insecurity and Improve Health Behaviors”.

  8. OSU Extension Hosts Interactive Cooking Classes for Diabetics

    Dining with Diabetes is a four-part series teaching self-management of diabetes.  Participants will learn about controlling blood sugar, managing diabetes, get a grocery store tour and learn about healthy cooking techniques.  This program may be covered by some insurance plans.  The Dining with Diabetes series will be offered the first four Wednesdays in March from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.

    NEW THIS YEAR: There will be NO mail in order forms for poultry. Members wishing to exhibit market turkeys and/or market chickens must place their orders on site at the Clermont County Fairgrounds 4-H Hall. Registration dates and times are listed below.

    January 13 (Turkey & Chicken); 8:00am-10:00am February 3 (Turkey & Chicken) ; 8:00am-10:00am March 24 (Chicken only); 8:00am-12:00pm April 7 (Chicken only); 8:00am-12:00pm

    All Turkey orders are due by 12:00pm on February 3.
