  1. Clermont Poultry Show Update

    OSU Extension, Ag Society (Senior & Junior Fair and Sale Committee), and FFA will be meeting to establish activities, educational displays and events for youth participating with poultry projects for the 2015 Clermont County Fair. This includes all fine feathered friends.
    As soon as we know further information and details, we will let everyone know. As of today, no plans have been made but are in thought process.

  5. Preserving the Harvest Canning Class

    Ohio State University Extension Clermont County will be hosting Preserving the Harvest Workshops, June 11, August 13, and September 3, from  10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on the Clermont County Fairgrounds in the 4-H kitchen, 1000 Locust Street, Owensville. This annual program is taught by Margaret Jenkins, Family & Consumer Sciences Educator.

  6. Rain Barrel

    Ohio State University Extension-Clermont County was selected to paint a rain barrel as part of the second annual Rain Barrel Art Project, an initiative designed to educate the community about water conservation and pollution caused by storm water runoff. Local artist, Julie Saunders of West Union, Ohio designed and painted the Rain Barrel on behalf of the Extension Office. Saunders daughter, Anna, is a SNAP-Ed Program Assistant with OSU Extension in Clermont County.

  7. OSU Extension Clermont hosted 21st SW Ohio Perennial School

    Ohio State University Extension Clermont County hosted the 21st Annual Southwest Ohio Perennial School April 9th at the Clermont County Fairground’s 4-H Hall.

    The event, attended by 90 guests, centered on five educational presentations with a tradeshow featuring eleven regional vendors and gardening organizations.

  9. Asian Longhorned Beetle assistance available

    Funding opportunities are currently available to landowners affected by the Asian Longhorned Beetle in the ALB quarantined areas of Clermont County through April 17, 2015.   The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is taking applications through the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP).
