We are receiving several phone calls in regards to producers not identifying sheep and goats for the USDA-APHIS Scrapie Eradication Program.
All sheep and goats must be identified with USDA approved scrapie identification. This identification is illegal to remove because it is federally mandated. There are a couple different methods to officially identify your livestock, but it is the producer’s responsibility.

If you are looking for assistance in completing your general 4-H project, we have just the thing, "Project Progress Saturdays". The Family and Consumer Sciences Teen Board is hosting 2 Saturdays where members can come together and recieve help in preparing their 4-H projects for County and State judging. They will be June 4th and June 18th at the Clermont County 4-H Hall. There will be food, activities, and lots of fun for all 4-H members. OSU is conducting a project in Clermont County to better understand the health of teenage males and their families across Ohio.
As a thank you, the teenage male will receive a $50 gift card. Parents and siblings will receive up to $20.
