2026 Clermont County 4-H Communication Contest

Clermont County 4-H members are invited to showcase their communication skills at the 2026 Communication Contest. This exciting event provides 4-H youth the opportunity to build confidence, creativity, and public speaking abilities in a supportive and engaging environment.

Event Details

  • Date: Tuesday, July 14, 2026
  • Check-In Time: 9:30 a.m.
  • Location: 4-H Hall, Clermont County Fairgrounds

Participants are encouraged to arrive on time and prepared to present their projects.

Contest Divisions

Divisions are determined by age as of January 1, 2026:

  • J-1: Junior Individual (ages 8–10)  – without use of computer technology
  • J-2: Junior Team (ages 8–10)– without use of computer technology
  • J-3: Intermediate Individual (ages 11–13)– with or without use of computer technology
  • J-4: Intermediate Team (ages 11–13)– with or without use of computer technology
  • J-5: Senior Individual (ages 14–18)– with or without use of computer technology
  • J-6: Senior Team (ages 14–18)– with or without use of computer technology
  • J-7: Junior Thank You Card (ages 8–10) – no computer graphics or scrapbooking tools
  • J-8: Junior Thank You Card (ages 8–10) – with computer graphics or scrapbooking tools
  • J-9: Intermediate 4-H Winter Holiday Card (ages 11–13) – no computer or scrapbooking tools
  • J-10: Intermediate 4-H Winter Holiday Card (ages 11–13) – with computer or scrapbooking tools
  • J-11: Senior Infomercial Promoting 4-H (ages 14–18)

Awards

Awards will be presented during the Winners’ Circle on Saturday, July 25, 2026. Recognition at this event celebrates the hard work and accomplishments of participating youth.
