Thank you for another great year of 4-H programming in Clermont County! It was one full of excitement and achievement for our 4-H'ers, thanks to YOUR help and support!

I cannot wait to share more about the 2025 year during trainings, however I want to share a little update with myself and give some insight on the training schedule for the year.

I am currently pregnant and expecting a baby in December, yay! My husband and I are excited to be adding to our family, but this also means I am expecting to be out from mid-December until mid-March to spend time healing and bonding with my child.

Due to limited schedule with events already on my calendar (and the fairground's schedule) and the unpredictable time of my baby's arrival, the schedule is to reflect dates/times I feel I can guarantee my attendance to offer training.

In the past, Returning Volunteers have been granted attendance at New Volunteer Orientation upon request. However, this year to help with flexibility Returning Volunteers now have the opportunity to register for this option without permission. I have updated the registration to populate this option for returning volunteers. Additionally, I will be modifying new volunteer trainings to cover both new and returning volunteer like-items at the beginning, then dismissing returning volunteers before covering new volunteer specific items.

If you have questions about training registration, please email Laurie Mitchell, mitchell.2642@osu.edu or call the office at (513) 732-7070.
