All Junior Fair exhibitors in market steers, feeder calves, market lambs, market hogs, market goats, lactating dairy cattle, lactating dairy goats, market poultry and meat rabbits are required to complete an approved Quality Assurance Program in an Ohio county. All Junior Fair market exhibitors’ parent/legal guardian or advisor must attend a Quality Assurance program even if they attended a meeting in the previous year. The purpose of Quality Assurance is to teach proper animal welfare. If you attend a training on a tag-in date (Jan. 3 or May 9), requiring your animal to stay on a trailer for an extended period of time, please make arrangements to properly care for your animal during this timeframe (food, water, ventilation, etc.).
