The Day in the Ring Show will be held on Tuesday, July 25, at 10:00 a.m. in the Gibbons Arena. This event provides an opportunity for individuals with special needs to experience what it is like to exhibit an animal at the county fair. Exhibitors will learn about how to care for the animal of their choice (goat, dairy cow, rabbit, or lamb) as well as, how to show the animal safely and properly at the fair. After an hour of training, exhibitors will participate in a special livestock show with the assistance of their mentor, followed by lunch after the show. There is a limit of 25 participants for the event. Exhibitors must be accompanied by a parent/guardian/caregiver.
