Beginning Sewing Class

Sewing

Are you looking for something fun, stylish and analytical for your kids ages 8-19 to do this fall? If so, Clermont County Extension and the Family & Consumer Sciences Teen Board has a solution for you.  In October we will be offering a Beginner Sewing Class Series. Come learn to sew, become more skilled on your sewing machine and master new sewing techniques. Holly Vining, 4-H Master Clothing Educator, will help you get started, answer your questions and teach easy ways to do simple techniques. Please bring your family’s sewing machine to use so you can problem solve the technology for use in our own home. Only a limited number of 4-H sewing machines will be available if you do not currently own one. These classes will be held on October 6, 13, 20, and 27 from 6:30 to 8:00 in the 4-H Hall on the Clermont County Fairgrounds. The cost is $10 per youth. Please note: Ages 8 to 10 need to attend with a parent and ages 11 to 19 years old can attend on their own. If you are interested in this series, please call the Extension office at 513-732-7070 for additional information and to register. Deadline to register is September 25th.
