Adams Co Jr Fair Beef BBQ
Ohio Valley Career and Technical Center
Annual Adams County Jr Fair Beef BBQ set for Thursday, September 4, 4:30-7 pm, Ohio Valley Career and Technical Center. Pit-roasted barbecued beef sandwich and all the trimmings; take-out and dine-in service. Ticket prices $9 for adults (2 sandwiches) and $7 for children (1 sandwich). Even if you can only make a quick stop on your way home, you and your family can still enjoy a terrific barbecued meal at a great price. All proceeds benefit improvements to the Junior Fair facilities at the Adams County Fairgrounds.

Home Canning Class - Preserving the Harvest
Clermont County Fairgrounds 4-H Hall
Four home canning workshops will be offered in summer 2014. Learn how to can your own garden produce - tomatoes, pickles, jellies, and more! All classes will be held at the Clermont County Fairgrounds' 4-H Hall. Registration is required. Workshop fee includes hands-on water bath and pressure canning, Extension Fact sheets, USDA canning guide, pressure gauge testing and workshop supplies.

2014 Farm Science Review
Molly Caren Agricultural Center, London, Ohio
The Molly Caren Agricultural Center (MCAC) near London, Ohio is home to the Farm Science Review and attracts upwards of 140,000 visitors from all over the United States and Canada, who come for three days to peruse 4,000 product lines from 600 commercial exhibitors, and learn the latest in agricultural production. The educational programs feature Ohio State and Purdue specialists and are second to none in the agricultural exhibition world.

Fall Paper Clover Campaign at Tractor Supply Company Stores
TSC Batavia and Loveland
Tractor Supply Company is proud to support 4-H with another year of the Paper Clover campaign. Visit the Batavia and Loveland stories to purchase a paper clover in $1, $5 or more amounts to support 4-H. Clubs, if you wish to display projects at the store or visit with animals, please contact the office at 732-7070 to make arrangements.

Clermont County Safe Communities Coalition Meeting
Clermont County Sheriff’s Office, 4470 State Route 222, Batavia
OSU Extension Clermont is the coordinator of the county's Safe Communities program. Safe Communities hosts a coalition meeting each quarter to review the county’s traffic fatality report and to plan Safe Communities programming. Programming focuses on decreasing traffic crashes and fatalities by increasing motor vehicle and traffic safety awareness through education and community partnership during national traffic safety campaigns such as “Click It or Ticket,” “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” and “Ride Smart.”
