3rd Annual Clermont County Run/Walk
Spencer Shank Park, Amelia
Mark your calendars for a fun event this summer, the 3rd Annual Clermont County FamilyFun1 Run/Walk. The family event will be held Staurday, June 1, 2013 at Spencer Shank Park in Amelia. The event is organized by the Clermont County Health District and Clermont CAN (Coalition for Activity and Nutrition). OSUE Clermont County is a member of CAN. The day will include a mini health fair and OSUE Clermont will be doing food demonstrations and food sampling. We hope to see you there.

Beef & Dairy Beef Feeders and Breeding Heifers Tag-In

All Beef & Dairy Beef Feeders as well as Breeding Heifers must attend tag-in. All project registration forms and breed registration forms are due at this time. Tag-in will be held from 8 to 10 a.m.

Cats must be in exhibitor's possession by this date. The registration paperwork is due by June 1.

Small Animal Registration

This is intended for all hamsters, guinea pigs, pocket pets, pet rabbits and any other miscallaneous pets. The animal must be in exhibitor's possession by June 1. The registration is from 8 to 10a.

Goat: Dairy, Pygmy, Pack & Harness Tag-In
Clermont County Fairgrounds
Goats must have scrapie tag or tattoo. Tattoo must have proper certification paperwork. Dairy goats will be checked at pre-scheduled farm visits. Pygmy goats will be scrapie ID verified at tag-in June 1. All Dairy, Pygmy, Pack & Harness Goat paperwork is due at this time. Registration will be held from 8 to 10 a.m.

4-H Camp Graham
Camp Graham
4-H Camp Graham is located on 70 acres of rolling woodlands in southwestern Ohio. It provides a safe, rustic environment where youth and caring adults learn and play, developing life skills through hands-on educational programs, while making friendships. Clermont County will be visiting the camp June 7-11. Contact the Extension Office for registration details.

The Ohio State University has begun a new fund-raising campaign to support students from all 88 Ohio counties. The "Ohio Scholarship Challenge" seeks to raise $100 million in general undergraduate scholarship funds for Ohio State students at all campuses. This Challenge is also part of the university’s larger effort to raise $500 million in private funds for student financial aid and scholarships. The Ohio Scholarship Challenge honorary co-chairs are Ohio State head football Coach Urban Meyer and men’s basketball Coach Thad Matta.
