What is community development? Community Development has many definitions. It is a process of managing community change by involving citizens in a dialogue on issues to decide what must be done (their shared Vision of the future) and then, involves them in doing it. This is accomplished by improving a Community's Capacity for Change, which is simply the knowledge, the skills, and the attitudes necessary to improve and sustain your community.
