Camp Graham Website
Clermont Hamilton 4-H camp is held at 4-H Camp Graham, a resident camp located near Clarksville, Ohio on the border between Warren and Clinton Counties. Camp Graham is located on 70 acres of rolling woodland bordered by Todd’s Fork of the Little Miami River. Hiking trails, Campfire and vespers site, a pond and fossil-laden creek surround the central athletic field. This rustic setting provides an idyllic backdrop for the camp’s sports, crafts and swimming facilities. There are 14 residential cabins in addition to dining and recreation halls. 4-H Camp Graham is privately owned by 4-H members of Clermont, Hamilton, Montgomery & Warren counties, and has a proud heritage and tradition of wholesome educational and recreational activities.
What is Camp like?
At camp we want to have fun and learn many things. You will have the opportunity to meet friends from communities throughout Clermont County and the surrounding area. You will participate in many traditional camp activities like swimming, nature hikes, campfires, canoeing as well as other fun activities like line dancing, etc.
Where will I sleep?
Sleeping facilities are wooden cabins that sleep 10-14 people. Boys and girls areas are separate with their own bathrooms. All cabins are near the central camp area. You may request to stay in the same cabin with a friend.
What will I eat?
Home-style meals are served in the large, comfortable dining hall. Three delicious meals and an evening snack are the tradition of camp.
Do I need any extra money?
All camper meals, accident insurance and program expenses are included in the fee. At camp, a color photo is available for $8.00. Check registration materials to confirm.
At 4-H Camp, snacks (50 - 75¢), and Camp Graham apparel including shirts, sweatshirts, hats and boxers ($10 - 30) are available from the canteen. For convenience, campers deposit their spending money in a personal account at the canteen when they arrive. Unspent money is returned to them at the end of camp.
Who plans camp?
Trained counselors plan and execute our fun and educational camp programs. There will be many new and exciting activities this year.
Who supervises camp?
Our trained teen counselors are supervised by Youth Development professionals as well as adult volunteers who have a passion for working with youth and the camping program. A certified health professional is on site for every camp.
Are 'Camperships' available?
Financial assistance is available to Clermont and Hamilton County 4-H members who qualify for help with their fees. Campers are asked to submit a Campership form explaining their need and their reasons for wanting to attend camp by April 1, 2007.
